Destination Weddings

Thinking about choosing an exotic location to start your life together?

Whether it's a secluded hideaway, a sunny beach, or perhaps a quaint village in a faraway land, a destination wedding can offer a chance to make a memory that will last a lifetime.

PROBLEM Most destinations have restrictions and rules that we don't usually encounter here in Texas. For example, most foreign places (say, the Caribbean) require you to be in-country several (or many) days before you can even get a license. It's costly to stay in the hotel for several days before you actually get married, and it's like having the honeymoon first and then the wedding.

Not only that, you have a variety of people and agencies to deal with (not to mention potential language barriers) and the fees can quickly add up.

SAME-SEX CONSIDERATION Same-sex weddings are not permitted in many countries. Officiants in foreign countries require local licenses. For example, in the Caribbean there are only five countries where same-sex weddings may be performed by local officiants: Bonaire, Puerto Rico, Saba, St. Eustatius, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unless...

SOLUTION If you have a Texas (and some other states) license, I will officiate your wedding at the same venue with no extra (and sometimes lengthy) waiting periods and I will do it far more simply. Your stateside wedding license is usually all you need.

HOW IT WORKS You provide my travel (usually airfare), one night's hotel (either the night before the wedding or the same day, depending on flight schedules and wedding time), and a $300 overnight fee. This is far less expensive than spending several days (and usually for two or more rooms) before you can even get a license at your destination. We can go anywhere in the world. Plus, your stateside license fees are nearly always less. Save time and money and get the wedding you really want!
